December 1, 2015 Marks the Fourth Annual #GivingTuesday
#GivingTuesday proves that the holidays can be about both giving and giving back.
The retail industry has long benefited from seasonal shopping that symbolically kicks off with Black Friday – a day that has since inspired Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.
#GivingTuesday – the Tuesday after the Thanksgiving weekend – serves as a celebratory, fully connected day to kick off the giving season, when many make their holiday and end-of-year charitable gifts.
It celebrates how Americans can do more with their wallets than just shop – and that we can give as good as we get.
This year, CNL is excited to continue our push for a Nevada County tradition: The second annual #GivingTuesday Nonprofit Wish List!
This Wish List will appear in The Union on #GivingTuesday, December 1, and will highlight our CNL Member Organizations and their specific needs.
