Mission Statement & Purpose:
The Neighborhood Center of the Arts (NCA) provides a safe and creative environment for almost 70 artists who each have unique abilities. NCA serves the whole person by providing art direction, personal support, paid work, education, training and independent living skills in a total synthesis to meet individual needs. We believe there is no limit to the level of expressive accomplishment any person can achieve. NCA provides a haven for our clients’ uninhibited and inspiring spirits. If  our Neighborhood Center didn’t exist, all of our artists would be left at home.

Success Story: We’re proud of the work our artists create in a variety of genres. NCA sponsors at least three in-house gallery shows each year, in addition to pop-up shows for featured artists. Our NCA art has also been shown in San Francisco, Seattle and New York. NCA artists who sell their work receive 50% of sale price; the remaining 50% helps NCA continue their work in providing safe and creative environments for artists.

How our organization benefits from being a CNL Member: CNL is a great platform for professionals in the non-profit world to connect with one another. We have gotten great tools for executive directors and board members in workshops and had good networking opportunities with other leaders in our community.

How to get involved:  Please come see our on-site gallery at 200 Litton Drive, Suite 212. Make a purchase and tell your friends!
