Session 2 in Leaders Leading Others Workshop Series
Tuesday, June 20th, 9:00am – 10:30am
On Zoom
Trainer: Becky Lunders of teamWorks
Cost: $30 – CNL Members;
$40 – Not-Yet-Members
We hear lots of talk about “holding people accountable,” and that has varying degrees of success in the nonprofit sector. While vital for getting work done, I like to flip it to “leading accountable people” where people hold themselves accountable for the work they do. When something isn’t working, it demands a conversation (not a text message!) and an opportunity for everyone to feel heard. To that end, this session will:
- Examine the importance of a fully functioning team and the role trust plays;
- Experience common scenarios that keep teams from achieving great results;
- Highlight simple tools to help you have those tough conversations so they can be successful, and you can sleep well knowing the work gets done.
Suggested participants: This session is for anyone who manages others: Executive Directors, nonprofit managers, volunteer leaders, and Boards
Cost: $30 – CNL Members; $40 – Not-Yet-Members (registration deadline: Friday, June 16th)
Location: Zoom – attendees will receive link after registration and payment are confirmed
