Mission Statement:
The Community Asian Theater of the Sierra (CATS) promotes cultural enrichment through diversity in the arts. CATS supports multicultural theater, events, and workshops. It seeks to enrich the cultural climate of the Sierra Foothills and the greater Sacramento region with works on Asian-based themes. CATS welcomes participation from Asians and non-Asians alike whose interest is in ethnic theater, and multicultural arts and activities. CATS is one of the most visible arts and culture organization focusing on the Asian culture. There is a thirst for Asian cultural enrichment in our community, and CATS is meeting that need.
