Your time is the most valuable asset your organization has.  Knowing if your organization and program area is a good fit for a funder before applying is essential. Additionally, understanding the responsibility and administrative logistics that come along with accepting hard-earned grant funds can be complex. This 90-minute online workshop will explore some of these complexities and provide practical resources and decision-making tools to help identify if a grant opportunity is appropriate for your organization to pursue and/or accept.  Topics covered include: properly vetting a grant opportunity, the “real cost” of grants, contingency funds, and financially encumbering your organization.

Suggested Participants: Staff or Members of any organization looking to broaden understanding of stewarding funders and grant dollars, including but not limited to: Executive Directors, Development Directors and/or staff and volunteers
Date and Time:  Tuesday, March, 1st, 9:00am – 10:30am
