The Center for Nonprofit Leadership’s Executive Director Academy is a nine-month seminar series offered about every 18 months or so. Please continue to check back for the start of our next Academy.
This focused series is designed to build and enhance leadership and management skills offering executive directors a rare opportunity to sharpen skills, interact and learn among peers, and hear about best practices from topical experts. By studying together and interacting with class participants, the series provides opportunities to better understand how you can motivate, inspire and impact those around you.
Sessions include, but are not limited to, assessing your strengths and leadership skills, effective decision making, presentation skills, conflict resolution, building a high performance team, the ED role in philanthropy, finance and more.
Selected candidates will meet one-day a month for four hours over a nine – month period.
Cost for the series is $700 (less than $75 per session!) Partial scholarships of $350 are available to organizations that can demonstrate a need.
