First 5 Nevada County promotes the importance of early childhood by investing in complex systems of care, empowering families, and strengthening the community
Success Story:
To date, First 5 Nevada County has invested more than $8 million into early child development through community based organizations and internal programming in Nevada County. State law directs First 5 Nevada County to distribute this money in accordance with a Strategic Plan, which has been reviewed by the public in at least one public hearing.
